The Menofia Company was established by the decision of Mr. Engineer, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Development No. 103 of 2007. Subject to the provisions of Law No. 203 of 1991 and its executive regulations.

• The Drinking Water and Wastewater Company was established and the General Assembly and Board of Directors of the company were formed on 5/9/2007.
• And a temporary administrative headquarters was prepared for the company, in addition to 11 affiliated branches in the governorate.
• The purpose of establishing the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company in Menoufia is to purify, transport, distribute and sell drinking water and collect, treat and safely dispose of wastewater.
