  • Today, Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, President of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, met with heads of sectors, general managers, and directors of affiliated branches to confirm the work plan during the blessed Eid Al-Adha period.
  • He said, the company implemented a plan to disinfect the sewage pipes in all areas of the governorate in anticipation of any sudden blockage in the sewage lines during the days of Eid Al-Adha.
  • Najib added that the maximum level of readiness has been raised in water stations and networks at the governorate level, providing the necessary amount of water for use in sacrificial works, and coordinating with all branches to carry out disinfection work for containers and lifting and treatment stations to confront any problems that may arise in networks and stations.
  • He stated that an emergency room has been formed that operates around the clock in all branches of the company to follow up on all complaints received by the hotline 125 and work to solve them immediately, especially problems related to the appearance of floods in the streets or water quality and quality.
  • He stressed the importance of the presence of chemists in the company's laboratories to remove samples from the networks and station packages as soon as there is any complaint regarding water quality, with mobile laboratory vehicles ready to withdraw samples and conduct chemical and bacteriological analyzes to verify the safety and quality of the water.
  • He directed the necessity of implementing an awareness campaign to spread the company’s message and inform citizens of the necessity of preserving sewage networks and avoiding throwing sacrificial waste, which leads to blockages, sewage overflows, and damage to network lines, in order to educate those who frequent them about the importance of preserving sewage networks.
  • He called for the necessity of working to improve the service provided to citizens, stressing that the stations will operate at full capacity to meet the needs of citizens and to confront any problems that may arise, related to the weakness of drinking water during the coming period.
