  • Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, President of the Menoufia Water and Sanitation Company, held a meeting with heads of sectors, general managers, and directors of affiliated branches to follow up on the work system, operation and maintenance plans, and urgent solutions for hot areas, and to discuss plans to expand the installation of water meters and intensify field traffic to the company’s sites.
  • He called on the branch heads to conduct field visits to the company’s various stations in accordance with an action plan aimed at paying attention to the quality of drinking water produced and preserving the wastewater stations, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Housing and Utilities and the Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater.
  • He stressed the need to follow occupational safety and health procedures in all work sites during operation and maintenance work and during project implementation, and to continuously qualify workers to implement occupational safety and health plans to preserve individuals and property.
  • He stressed the need to establish a mechanism to ensure the sustainability of the operation of drinking water and sanitation plants, and to coordinate with all parties to ensure regular operation and provide the necessary supplies and equipment to secure workers and the work environment, and the necessity of the presence of an occupational safety and health official in all work sites.
  • He stressed that the company seeks in all fields to obtain various accredited certificates, such as the ISO certificate, water safety and security certificates, sewage circulation certificates, and sustainable technical management certificates, which reflects the company’s keenness to provide the best service to citizens.
  • He stated that the company seeks, through its relevant departments, to reduce water loss and detect leakage, whether as a result of leakage and fractures in networks, or as a result of infringement on water connections, and to implement awareness campaigns and activate community participation to spread awareness among citizens of the legal measures taken by the company as a result of this act.
  • The Laboratories and Quality Control Sector directed the necessity of field visits to the company’s stations, measuring the percentage of iron present, monitoring operating processes, paying attention to the stations’ intakes, and benefiting from qualified human cadres in the laboratories sector in developing the work system.
