  • In a precedent considered the first of its kind, the Menoufia Water and Sanitation Company, headed by Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, signed a cooperation protocol with the “Khalis” digital payments company to ship prepaid water meter cards to citizens in their homes via the customer’s reading, collection, and printing system devices.   • He added, through the P.O.S electronic payment machine, an immediate receipt is printed for the customer when he pays the value of his consumption to the collector or through the customer service offices, and the reading is also recorded on it, and the instant receipt issued by the machine is considered an alternative to the traditional paper invoice.
  • This comes within the framework of the state’s efforts and to achieve Egypt’s 2030 vision towards digital transformation, and in view of the efforts of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater in developing the collection system, providing multiple electronic payment methods, and automating the services provided to citizens.
