The head of Menoufia Water inspects a number of projects being implemented in the Tala Center.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, President of the Menoufia Water and Wastewater Company, conducted a field visit to a number of projects being implemented in the Tala Center within the framework of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, the Governor of Menoufia and the Chairman of the Holding Company for Potable Water and Wastewater, on the need to follow up on the work being done in order to preserve the sustainability of the service for citizens.
He began his visit by inspecting the work of the Talla sewage treatment plant expansion project, which aims to collect and treat wastewater discharges from deprived villages intended to be served in the new Talla village cluster with a total population of 49,941 people (until the target year 2057) in accordance with environmental specifications and requirements to accommodate all upcoming disposals with a total capacity. 4000 m3/day for the first stage and is increased to a capacity of 6000 m3/day for the second stage, and then the treated water is disposed of at the downstream point in the Tala drain.
