  • In a first of its kind precedent at the level of the stations affiliated with the company’s branch in Al-Shohada, the Salmon Bahri treatment plant succeeded in obtaining first place in the chlorine leak control competition within the framework of the competition for developing the occupational safety and health skills of the company’s employees.

Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, said that the competition aims to create a positive competitive spirit among workers, highlight their skills, and maintain a safe and effective level in the field of occupational safety and health to reduce and control risks in all stations and networks, use the latest devices in this field, and implement a simulation to deal quickly and immediately with leaks or any malfunction that may affect the chlorine system.
  • He stressed the importance of following occupational health and safety procedures at all work sites during repair, maintenance or project implementation, to preserve the safety of citizens and workers.
  • It is worth noting that the activities of the "Internal Competition in Dealing with Chlorine Leakage" organized by the General Administration of Occupational Safety and Health at the Martyrs Branch were held with the participation of four stations (Martyrs Marine - Salmon Marine Treatment - Jawaber Coast Iron and Manganese - Dinosaur Treatment) in how to control chlorine leakage to create a positive competitive spirit among workers and raise awareness of the importance of maintaining the implementation of occupational safety and health instructions.
