The head of Menoufia Water Company inspects a number of sites affiliated with the company’s branch in Ashmoun.
Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, conducted an inspection tour of the Shema, Tahway and Ashmoun treatment plants and the Mahalla Sabk and Ashmoun filtered water stations in Ashmoun to follow up on the work being done within the company’s branches.
He directed the necessity of taking all necessary measures and preparing the stations to deal with emergencies and confront the winter season, and carrying out periodic maintenance of the stations according to the existing time plan, and related to equipment maintenance; to maintain their technical condition permanently and follow up on the operation process and take care of the general appearance of the stations with the aim of maintaining the efficiency of the station and improving the quality of service provided to citizens.
He stressed the need to continuously follow up on all projects being implemented and to make every effort to complete the work according to the plan and the specified time period to contribute to providing a decent life for the citizens of Menoufia.
He met with a number of employees at the Ashmoun branch and discussed some important matters related to raising the level of service provided to citizens, as well as improving the level of performance of employees and motivating them to exert more effort in order to improve the service provided while preserving every drop of water that reaches citizens.
This comes in implementation of the instructions of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and the directives of Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, and Eng. Mamdouh Raslan, Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation, to periodically visit the stations to monitor the current situation and follow up on ongoing projects to rehabilitate the stations in order to achieve the public interest and improve the level of performance.
