  • The Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company vehicles were stationed in various parts of the governorate in preparation for the expected rainfall, based on the warnings of the Meteorological Authority.
  • Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, directed to raise the state of emergency in all branches of the company to confront the potential wave of floods and rains and to emphasize the readiness of sewage networks and stations and the continued deployment of suction vehicles in places exposed to water accumulations so as not to affect the regularity of traffic.
  • He explained that a comprehensive proactive plan was put in place to clean the sewage networks, sewage drains and rain filters to receive rainwater, as well as to remove dust from them to prevent rainwater from accumulating in the streets and squares, not to obstruct the movement of citizens and to avoid obstructing the movement of cars.
  • The branch heads called for the necessity of field presence and maximum readiness in anticipation of facing possible rains, pointing out the provision of ready equipment to pump water and disinfect all areas at the governorate level to prepare to face the rainy season in full coordination with the governorate's operations room and the relevant authorities.
