The head of Menoufia Water meets with the heads of sectors and branches to discuss the company's preparations for the rainy season.
Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, held a meeting with the heads of sectors and branch heads to discuss the company's preparations for the rainy season of winter 2024 AD.
He discussed the company's preparations to face the rainy season and the measures it has taken to confront rain and floods, stressing the need for emergency teams to be prepared around the clock and to continue implementing the plan to clean rain drains, prepare water suction equipment, and ensure the readiness of cars and vehicles used in the process of suctioning rainwater.
He added that the maximum level of preparedness has been raised to confront the dangers of the flood season and heavy rains that the governorate may witness. He reviewed the company's plan regarding the detailed preparations, scenarios and procedures that can be implemented in the event of any emergency to confront heavy rains or floods if they occur during the winter season in coordination with the governorate's operations room and the electricity company.
He called for the necessity of cooperation in order to improve the work system to provide better service to citizens, whether drinking water or sewage services, and to operate stations at full capacity to meet citizens’ needs and the necessity of moving quickly to solve the problems facing citizens.
He directed the branch heads to quickly solve citizens’ problems and continue field visits to the company’s private stations to follow up on the progress of work inside the stations for the sake of continuous development and reaching the best level of quality technically and administratively, raising the efficiency of the stations, providing the necessary spare parts to complete the operation and maintenance process, and paying attention to the appropriate appearance of each station.
