The Governor of Menoufia witnesses the launch of the trial operation of the Toukh Tanbesha sub-sewage lifting project and stresses the need to quickly complete the delivery procedures and start home connections next January
Today, Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, witnessed the launch of the trial operation of the Toukh Tanbesha sub-station behind the National University, as part of the integrated sanitation project, with total investments amounting to 130 million pounds. This came during his extensive field tour of the Berket El Sabaa Center and City, accompanied by Engineer Rushdi Omar, Head of the Executive Authority of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, Engineer Shaker Mohamed, Head of the Executive Authority for Drinking Water and Sanitation, Professor Wahid Abdel Rabbo, Head of the Local Unit of the Berket El Sabaa Center and City, Engineer Shaaban El Shabrawy, Director of the Roads Directorate, and Engineer Alaa El Banna, Head of the EGYCO Company Sector.
The governor inspected the Toukh Tanbesha sub-station and listened to a detailed explanation of the executive position and completion rates, implemented by El Nasr Buildings and Construction Company (EGYCO), where civil and electromechanical works were completed by 100%, and the slope networks with a total of 10 km by 96%, as well as the expulsion line with a total of 1.2 by 100%. The head of the executive authority for drinking water and sanitation indicated that the trial operation and pumping of water to the treatment plant are underway, and the delivery procedures will be completed next week, so that home services will begin to be delivered on January 1, 2025, to raise the standard of living services for citizens.
