The head of Menoufia Water inspects the drinking water and sewage stations in the governorate.
Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, made an inspection tour of a number of drinking water and wastewater stations in the centers of Menouf, El-Bagour and Sirs El-Layyan to follow up on the progress of work at the stations to ensure the continuity of providing services provided in the drinking water and wastewater sector to citizens.
He started his visit by inspecting Kafr El-Sanabseh treatment plant and Menouf filtered water station in Menouf branch, then he headed to Sars El-Layyan branch and inspected Sars El-Layyan main lifting station 1 and Sars El-Layyan sewage station No. 3, and ended his tour by visiting Jarwan sewage lifting station and El-Bagour main water station in El-Bagour branch.
For his part, he said that there are several development projects witnessed by the governorate in the drinking water and sanitation sectors, to solve all the urgent problems that trouble citizens, pointing out that the state is implementing many national projects to serve citizens, in addition to the rural sectors that the state pays special attention to, especially within the framework of the presidential assignments to develop a large number of villages within the second phase of the “Decent Life” initiative, launched by the President of the Republic.
He stressed his keenness to continuously follow up on infrastructure projects, most notably the sewage service, which is one of the most important services that the state is keen to provide in order to improve the level of services provided to citizens.
