Menoufia Water announces a plan to wash networks during January 2025.
Postponing laundry work this week, coinciding with the Coptic brothers’ celebrations of Christmas.
Eng. Rushdi Al-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, announced a plan to wash water networks in all areas of the governorate during the month of January 2025 according to the areas specified in the periodic washing schedule, noting that due to the Coptic brothers’ celebrations of Christmas, washing work has been postponed during the current week.
The company chairman explained that there is full coordination between the company’s branches and the heads of local units, each within its scope, and emphasis is placed on adherence to the specified timetable and dates for washing and disinfection work, as well as immediate handling of any emergencies to preserve the health of citizens.
The company urges citizens to manage their water needs and not use them during the washing period, even if they are in the network. The company notes that if any sediments or turbidity appear in the water after the washing process, the water should be turned on for a while to get rid of the sediments resulting from the washing.

This comes in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, to continue the necessary periodic maintenance work according to the plan set to wash water networks in various areas of the governorate to ensure the quality of water provided to citizens.
