  • Today, Eng. Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, met with the heads of sectors, general managers, and branch managers to discuss a number of topics related to improving the level of services provided by the company to citizens.
  • He directed the necessity of following up on the sewage projects being implemented within the governorate and informing the water regulatory body of all projects entering service, as well as the continuous field follow-up of branch managers on all faults that may appear in the networks and stations and being present at work until the repair is completed and conducting a comprehensive field survey of all home connections and covers being constructed to ensure their safety before entering service and supervising the installation of home connections and pipes with the appropriate diameters for each region to maintain the sustainability of the service for citizens.
  • He discussed the company's preparations for the second phase of the presidential initiative, "Decent Life", and the measures being taken to implement projects, to provide better services to citizens, in implementation of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, sustainable development plans and Egypt's Vision 2030, as the second phase includes 126 villages in 3 centers "Quweisna - Menoufia - El-Bagour"
  • He issued instructions on the necessity of intensifying training courses for workers in the field of determining chlorine levels and ensuring the implementation of occupational health and safety procedures and adhering to them is an urgent necessity to preserve the worker by securing the work environment and providing a suitable and appropriate climate for workers in order to provide a service at the highest level that suits the aspirations of all citizens.
  • He called for the need to intensify efforts to identify illegal connections and complete coordination between the company’s commercial sector and all heads of affiliated branches in estimating the amount of underground drainage when building new towers.
  • He also stressed the need to follow up on all complaints received on the hotline 125 around the clock, to present and solve them immediately, especially problems related to water outages, sudden breaks in water lines, and sewage problems, stressing the need to communicate with citizens, identify their problems, and move quickly to crisis locations if they exist.
  • On the sidelines of the meeting, Eng. Mohamed Helmy Amr, the company’s branch manager in El-Bagour, was honored for his excellence in implementing maintenance work on the sewage treatment plant in Kafr El-Khadra village in El-Bagour Center.
