The head of Menoufia Water heads the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Monitoring the “Decent Life” projects.
The Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company held a meeting of the Supreme Committee to follow up on the projects of the presidential initiative "Decent Life" in the most needy villages in the Ashmoun and Al-Shohada centers, stressing the need for full coordination with all executive bodies to overcome any obstacles.
Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, stressed the need to adhere to the specified timetable for implementing these projects to contribute to providing a decent life for the Menoufia citizen, in implementation of the President’s directives, in coordination with all concerned parties and achieving cooperation to make the initiative a success.
He also stressed the need to work on improving the service provided to citizens and discussed during the meeting ways of cooperation with the company in order to upgrade the work system in order to provide better service to citizens, whether drinking water or sewage services, and the need for rapid action to solve the problems facing citizens.
During the meeting, he reviewed the size of the projects implemented by the company, which will benefit the citizen, while highlighting the state’s role in providing a cup of clean water and safe sanitation for every citizen in the governorate, through national projects and large investments in the drinking water and sanitation sector.
He stressed his keenness to continuously follow up on the infrastructure projects of the endowment and the implementation rates to ensure adherence to the specified timetables for their completion, stressing the provision of all capabilities and the removal of obstacles to support the infrastructure projects in order to raise the level of services provided to the people of the governorate.
