  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, indicated that the Awareness Department organized several awareness seminars, field campaigns, and door-to-door campaigns in Menoufia villages and centers in preparation for the advent of Eid Al-Fitr.
  • He added that the seminars and campaigns focused on the need to rationalize and avoid wasting water when housewives clean their homes and wash carpets and walls, by participating in health convoys and organizing field visits to water stations.
  • He added that the campaigns aimed to teach children positive behaviors to conserve water and instill a culture of rationalization and not wasting water in bathing and spraying the streets with water, as consumption is expected to increase in the coming period. They also emphasized the need for housewives to maintain sewage networks when cleaning their homes. Brochures and posters were distributed urging the need to rationalize water consumption.
  • He explained that the company does not cut off water or disconnect service for citizens who use the meter for the code, but rather the water is not cut off even after the card is fully charged during the holidays. Rather, the debt is transferred to the customer, and the service is not disconnected until the start of the first working day after the end of the holiday and the official state holiday.
  • He pointed out that the company receives customer complaints through various communication methods, such as the hotline 125 and the WhatsApp number 01220906668, and that the service is provided and continues 24 hours a day.
