  • The Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company welcomed 515 students from the Faculty of Nursing at Menoufia University to visit the Shebin El-Kom El-Bahary Water Plant. The visit focused on learning about the massive investments the state is making in the field of drinking water and wastewater, and the stages of water purification, from the inlet to the point where it reaches citizens.
  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, emphasized the importance of these visits and their positive impact in highlighting the state's efforts to provide every citizen with a clean glass of water and promoting a culture of rationalizing consumption within the framework of cooperation between the company and Menoufia University.
  • He added that the discussion focused on the importance of water to human life and the need to conserve it by rationalizing consumption, avoiding wasteful behaviors, and utilizing modern technologies provided by the Egyptian state to prevent water waste, such as coded meters and energy-saving switching technology, which reduce consumption and help conserve water.
  • At the end of the visit, several brochures and printed materials were distributed, carrying a number of awareness messages on the importance of optimal use of sewage networks, rationalizing consumption, and introducing the services provided by the company through its various communication channels.
