The Governor of Menoufia and the Chairman of the Menoufia Water Company inspect the expansion of Ashmoun wastewater treatment plant.
Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, accompanied by Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, inspected the expansion of the Ashmoun wastewater treatment plant over an area of 5 acres, with investments of 500 million pounds, bringing the total capacity to 30,000 m3/day to serve the city’s residents as part of supporting infrastructure projects and improving services provided to citizens.
The company chairman pointed out that the concrete works have been completed at a 100% rate, the finishing works at 75%, the mechanical and manual filters have been installed, and the electromechanical works are in progress.
The Governor of Menoufia stressed the need to adhere to the specified timetable and to adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety in implementation to ensure all operations and provide distinguished services to citizens.
