Menoufia Water deals with rainwater accumulations in the governorate.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, directed the rapid response to rainwater, as well as the deployment of water suction trucks to remove the water, to prevent traffic congestion, especially in the governorate's cities, in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia.
He said that several areas in the governorate were exposed to a wave of bad weather, which led to rainfall that caused water to accumulate in the streets.
The branch heads were instructed to follow up on the process of pumping rainwater from the streets. The necessary equipment, including sweeping vehicles and suction machines, was immediately dispatched in coordination with the relevant authorities. The necessary action was taken to pump out the accumulated rainwater.
