Menoufia Water: Implementing several activities to raise awareness about rationalizing water consumption.
The awareness team of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company carried out several awareness activities, including a survey of citizens’ opinions visiting customer service centers, in addition to participating in medical convoys and convoys in cooperation with the General Authority for Adult Education in the centers of Quweisna, Berket El Sabaa and Shibin El Kom, to educate citizens about rationalizing water consumption and to introduce them to the projects being implemented to serve citizens.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, pointed out that awareness activities were implemented for citizens, including explaining the correct behaviors for dealing with water and how to conserve it, preserving every drop of water, and making optimal use of sewage networks.
The awareness team focused on informing citizens about the company's services, such as water-saving appliances and their importance in rationalizing water consumption, prepaid water meters, the Qaraati app for recording readings, and the 125 hotline service for receiving water and sewage complaints.
