Menoufia Water: Dinosaur Wastewater Treatment Plant Meets TSM Certification Requirements for the Second Time.
The Denasour Wastewater Treatment Plant, affiliated with the company's branch in Shohada, has successfully obtained the Sustainable Technical Management (TSM) certification for the second time, after fulfilling its requirements as part of the company's performance development plan, under the directives of Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater, and in implementation of the company's Operations and Maintenance Sector's work plan.
Engineer Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, pointed out that the Dinosaur Wastewater Treatment Plant obtained this certificate following a comprehensive and accurate review of all criteria for optimal plant operation, adherence to standard operating instructions for all phases of operation, and the availability of monthly performance indicators, in addition to monitoring and quality control standards to improve the level of services provided to citizens.
He stated that obtaining the Technical Sustainable Management (TSM) certificate for drinking water and wastewater stations is considered one of the most important indicators of the stations’ efficiency and ensuring the sustainability and continuity of service provision in the required manner after ensuring that all requirements for Technical Sustainable Management (TSM) are met.
He stressed that the company has a plan to develop the management and operation system of water and wastewater plants and obtain accreditation and quality certificates in the management and operation of drinking water and wastewater plants. He also stressed that the coming period will witness the entry of a number of drinking water and wastewater plants in the company to obtain the sustainable technical management certificate, which contributes to preserving the assets of the drinking water and wastewater sector and the investments being pumped into this vital facility.
He thanked all employees of the company's sustainable technical management system, appreciating their ongoing efforts and those of the Dinosaur Treatment Plant staff to improve the plant's work efficiency.
