Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, inspected the company's equipment and vehicles lineup at the Ashmoun branch to assess its readiness to handle the winter season, control rainwater, and intervene immediately to control crises and emergencies that may face the governorate.
  • He explained that the goal is to raise the level of maximum preparedness across all service sectors, review the efficiency of equipment, and ensure its readiness and suitability for immediate response in the event of crises and emergencies.
  • He emphasized the company's readiness to confront and respond to crises immediately, and its continuous and regular monitoring of weather conditions and climate change to address challenges that may arise during heavy rainfall.
  • He also inspected the Sunday Casting Lifting Station, the Semadoun Treatment Station, the Semadoun Iron and Manganese Station, the Semadoun Lifting Station, the Anjab Filtered Sand Station, and the Tahway Water Station in the Ashmoun branch to ensure the progress of work and the regularity of operations at the stations.
  • This comes as part of the governorate's plan and its full readiness to confront crises, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the President of the Republic, His Excellency the Minister of Housing, His Excellency the Governor of Menoufia, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater.
