Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, held a meeting with the operations and maintenance managers at the affiliated branches, in the presence of the heads of the operations and maintenance, technical support, laboratories, and quality control sectors, to discuss the company's preparations for the 2025 winter rainy season.

He issued instructions for the necessity of full coordination between the Operations and Maintenance Sector and the Commercial Sector in identifying clandestine connections and monitoring encroachments on networks to increase the collection rates due to the company.
He stressed the need to ensure the efficiency of pumping stations and treatment plants, review the efficiency of pumps and diesel engines, and ensure their efficiency, as well as pay attention to periodic maintenance of stations and work to rationalize energy consumption at all stations.

He emphasized the need to communicate with citizens, identify their problems, and quickly move to crisis locations if any occur.
