Menoufia Water: Securing water and sanitation services at various polling stations in the governorate.
The Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company announced that it has raised the level of preparedness to the maximum in all branches of the company, to ensure the sustainability of providing water and sanitation services on a regular basis during the presidential elections scheduled to be held on November 24 and 25.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Company, confirmed that the company’s branches monitor the quality of drinking water in those committees and take samples of it to ensure its quality, and make sure that the fire hydrants in the committees are opened and tested, and that the manholes and rooms for sewage lines inside and outside the committees are cleaned and cleared.
He stressed his keenness and interest in participating in providing all means of support necessary to make the electoral process a success, befitting the name of Egypt and the appearance of Menoufia Governorate in a decent and honorable manner, by providing all means of comfort to all elements of the electoral process and confirming our role in securing drinking water and sanitation services within those committees.
The company had announced the postponement of network and station flushing and water cuts during the election period, while continuing to monitor these operations and address any problems that might arise in coordination with the company's various departments.
This comes within the framework of directives issued by Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, to review and discuss preparations for the 2025 parliamentary elections within the governorate and to ensure immediate response in case of any unforeseen emergencies.
