Menoufia Water announces a network flushing plan for December 2025.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, announced a plan to wash the water networks in all areas of the governorate during December 2025, according to the areas specified in the periodic washing schedule for the networks.
The company president explained that there is full coordination between the company’s branches and the heads of local units, each within its scope, and an emphasis on adhering to the specified timetable and scheduled dates for washing and disinfection work, as well as dealing immediately with any emergencies in order to protect the health of citizens.
The company urges citizens to secure their water needs and refrain from using it during the flushing period, even if water is available in the network. The company also advises that if any sediment or turbidity appears in the water after the flushing process, the water should be run for a short time to clear these residues.
Furthermore, the company announces that in case of any complaints regarding water quality, citizens can contact the hotline 125 from any landline or via WhatsApp at 01220906668.
This comes in implementation of the directives of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Menoufia, to continue the necessary periodic maintenance work according to the plan set for washing the water networks in various areas of the governorate to ensure the quality of water provided to citizens.
