Menoufia Water Company holds a meeting of the Supreme Committee for Water Safety and Security and Sanitation.
The Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company held its periodic meeting on water and sanitation safety, chaired by Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, and attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Irrigation, the relevant authorities in Menoufia Governorate, and the heads of the relevant sectors in the company, to present the corrective measures necessary to ensure the safety of drinking water and sanitation and to ensure the sustainability of safe services for citizens.
The meeting addressed the company’s commitment to producing water that meets specifications from production stations, and the subsequent monitoring of production stages, starting from water sources until it leaves the production station, and the application of water safety and security plans and sewage handling safety plans for all stations, as these are among the most important tools to ensure the quality of the produced water and to preserve the environment and public health of citizens.
The company president stressed the need to pay attention to water safety and security files, and to set a timetable for implementing safety plans at all drinking water stations, and the importance of periodic follow-up to implement corrective measures for water safety and security plans, and the safe handling of sewage.
