The Mleih water filtration plant meets the requirements of the "TS.S.M" certification for the first time.
The Malij Al-Bahari Water Station has met the requirements of the Sustainable Technical Management (TSM) certificate for the first time, as part of the company’s performance development plan, in line with the directives of Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation, and in implementation of the company’s Operation and Maintenance Sector work plan.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, pointed out that the fulfillment of the requirements of the TSM certificate for the Malij El-Bahari water station came after a comprehensive and accurate review of all the standards related to the optimal operation of the stations and the following of standard operating instructions for all stages of operation and the availability of monthly performance indicators, in addition to monitoring and quality control standards to improve the level of services provided to citizens.
He stated that meeting the requirements of the Sustainable Technical Management (TSM) certification for drinking water and sewage treatment plants is one of the most important indicators of plant efficiency and ensuring the sustainability and continuity of service provision as required, after confirming that all requirements of Sustainable Technical Management (TSM) have been met.
He emphasized that the company has a plan to develop the management and operation system of water and sewage plants and obtain accreditation and quality certificates in the management and operation of drinking water and sewage plants. The coming period will witness the entry of a number of drinking water and sewage plants in the company to obtain the sustainable technical management certificate, which contributes to preserving the assets of the drinking water and sewage sector and the investments that are pumped into this vital facility.
The company president also announced that the Shebin El-Kom water treatment plant had passed the confirmatory inspection for the TSM (Technical Sustainable Management) certification, thanking the inspection committee for their valuable observations and meticulous follow-ups that contributed to enhancing the efficiency and quality of work within the plant. He also thanked all the employees of the Shebin El-Kom and Malij water treatment plants for this achievement.
