Menoufia Water: Awareness activities, field campaigns, and field opinion polls in various parts of the governorate to raise awareness about water rationalization.
Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, President of the Menoufia Water and Wastewater Company, stated that the Menoufia Water and Wastewater Company organized awareness campaigns in various schools in cooperation with the Directorate of Education in Menoufia in the districts and cities of (Al-Bajour - Ashmoun - Tala - Barkat Al-Sabaa - Quesna) in order to educate students about the importance of rationalizing Water consumption and conservation
He added that the campaigns included the implementation of many activities, interactive games, storytelling workshops, artistic competitions, a morning queue, and puppet theaters in kindergarten and primary schools, and souvenirs and publications were distributed urging the need to rationalize water consumption and optimize the use of sanitation.
Middle school students were also educated on the most important modern technologies through which water is provided in homes, and the return that accrues to the state, families, and individuals from providing water, its optimal use, maintaining sewage networks in homes, and the efforts made by the state to provide a clean cup of water to all citizens.
Naguib stressed that education at a young age is like engraving on stone, and that preserving the water of our dear homeland, Egypt, is a religious and national duty, and that we all must preserve water because it is the lifeline.
In the context of this, the company’s president said: Intensive awareness campaigns were organized with medical convoys, as the company’s awareness department participated in the medical convoy in the village of Zawiya Razin, affiliated with the Menouf district, in cooperation with the Health Directorate in Menoufia, and conducted opinion polls for customers in the customer service centers in the Menouf and Quesna districts in order to spread water awareness as well as contribute to amending Incorrect behaviors in dealing with and conserving water and how to optimally use sewage networks.
He said that, within the framework of strengthening communication with citizens, the Awareness Department implemented opinion polls for citizens within the company’s monthly plan to learn the opinions of its customers about the services provided, ensure transparency and credibility between the company and its customers, and benefit from citizens’ suggestions in developing the services provided.
