Menoufia Water receives the regulatory body for drinking water and sanitation at the Martyrs Center stations.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, received a delegation from the Drinking Water and Sanitation Regulatory Authority and Consumer Protection Agency to visit the Salamoun wastewater treatment plant and the Danasour treatment plant.
He explained that the visit aims to conduct a field review and monitor the operational efficiency of drinking water stations and sewage treatment plants, and to finalize the corrective measures that were identified during previous review work.
He added that the visit aims to ensure the implementation of performance indicators at major stations, their networks and laboratories, which include the quality of the produced water, the conformity of the final effluent to treated sewage, loss reduction procedures, the energy conservation system, the application of safety and security standards for drinking water and sewage handling, and adherence to occupational safety and health procedures.
He stressed that the reports of the regulatory body for drinking water, sanitation and consumer protection are among the most important reports that the company benefits from in developing performance and improving work management methods, which greatly contributes to achieving citizen satisfaction.
