  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company in Menoufia, explained that, in the company’s belief in the necessity of keeping pace with technological developments and developing human resources, and in line with the state’s policy of moving towards digital transformation, the General Administration for Training implemented various training programs, within the unified regional training plan approved by the Holding Company.
  • He stressed the importance of adopting training as a basic means of training employees in all specialized fields, as employee training programs help improve knowledge and refine employee skills to keep pace with the various changes in the field of work, and these improvements positively affect the productivity of the company’s employees.
  • He pointed out that a training course was conducted on the disinfection of sewage networks, types of pipes and special parts to identify the types of pipes, the difference between discharge lines and gravity lines, types of valves, types of fittings and special parts, the importance of disinfection, how to divide the networks and the types of equipment used in disinfecting the networks.
  • He mentioned that the course was conducted on how to work safely inside enclosed spaces and deal with chlorine leaks. The goal was to learn about the chemical and physical properties of chlorine gas, the dangers of chlorine, personal protective equipment, preventive storage procedures for chlorine cylinders, and the steps of the chlorine control team in the event of a chlorine leak.
  • He added that the training center continues to offer courses in various disciplines in order to raise the professional level, which included implementing a training course to improve the performance of employees in using the Word program with the aim of refining the skills of employees in various disciplines, as well as a course on etiquette and protocols and a training program on sanitation standards.
  • He pointed out that the capabilities of the Menoufia Water Training Center allow it to host training programs for sister companies or any external parties, adding that this accreditation is one link in a chain of successes achieved by the center, after obtaining the international ISO certificate in quality and administrative performance in the recent period.
