Menoufia Water Authority: Raising the level of maximum preparedness to confront the wave of bad weather.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman and Managing Director, announced raising the state of maximum readiness throughout the governorate in anticipation of the weather forecasts issued by the Meteorological Authority regarding the possibility of rainfall.
He directed that all equipment and devices be tested to ensure their efficiency in responding to any eventuality, and that water tankers be on standby to pump out any rainwater accumulations as soon as they occur, in order to maintain the smooth flow of traffic.
He added that the goal is to raise the level of preparedness to the highest degree across all branches, review the efficiency of equipment, and ensure its readiness and suitability for immediate response in the event of crises and emergencies.
This comes within the framework of the governorate's plan and its full preparedness to confront crises, in implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic, the Minister of Housing, the Governor of Menoufia, and the Chairman of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Wastewater.
