A training program for skills development and self-improvement for skilled workers in the Menoufia Water Authority.
The General Training Department of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company implemented the "Skills Development and Self-Improvement for Skilled Workers" training program. This initiative stems from the company's commitment to developing its human resources and modifying employee behaviors to achieve outstanding institutional performance, in line with the state's focus on skilled labor.
Engineer Roshdy El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, explained that the training increases employee satisfaction and loyalty to the company, which in turn leads to increased productivity and improved performance efficiency. This, in turn, contributes to achieving the strategic objectives of the Holding Company, which include supporting, building, and developing the capabilities of human resources within the Holding Company and its subsidiaries.
The company stated that it participated in the job fair at the Faculty of Commerce, Menoufia University, as part of the cooperation protocol between the Drinking Water Company and the Faculty of Commerce for human resource development. The aim was to promote training programs to graduating and current students in various faculties at Menoufia University (Engineering, Science, Commerce, and Arts) as part of the company's community outreach efforts.
Engineer Mohamed Abdullah, the company's General Manager of Training, added that the training period included developing a number of employees' skills in various areas, such as implementing a program on different types of meters for meter readers and bill collectors, cleaning and repairing sewage networks, preparing household connections, and calculating wages and salaries.
