Menoufia Water: Raising awareness among school and university students about the importance of rationalizing water consumption.
The Public Awareness Department of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company conducted awareness seminars in various schools to promote water conservation and reinforce the concept of water use among students under the slogan "Every Drop Counts," in cooperation with the Menoufia Directorate of Education.
Engineer Roshdy El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, emphasized that water conservation is a religious and national duty, and that spreading water awareness among school students helps instill the principles of preserving drinking water, teaching them proper water conservation practices, and promoting the optimal use of the sanitation network.
He stated that numerous awareness activities were implemented for school students, including interactive games, storytelling workshops, art competitions, and a puppet show. Souvenirs and brochures urging the importance of water conservation and the optimal use of sanitation were also distributed.
The General Administration of Public Relations and Awareness participated in the job fair at the Faculty of Commerce, Menoufia University, as part of the cooperation protocol between the Drinking Water Company and the Faculty of Commerce, reflecting the company's community role.
The Shebin El-Kom El-Bahari Water Treatment Plant welcomed students from the Faculty of Engineering, Menoufia University, to learn about the water purification stages at the plant, which ensure the delivery of safe and healthy drinking water to citizens.
The company president emphasized the importance of instilling the concept of water conservation and promoting positive practices in drinking water use to raise awareness about water conservation, in line with the Egyptian government's directives on the importance of conserving every drop of water.
