  • Following the directives of Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, and Engineer Mustafa El-Shimi, Acting Chairman of the Holding Company, regarding the necessity of field monitoring during the Eid al-Adha holiday and raising the level of preparedness to the maximum at all water stations and networks within the governorate, Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, inspected today the Istunha Water Treatment Plant, the Kafr El-Khadra Water Treatment Plant in the Bagour branch, and the Mit Barah Water Treatment Plant in the Quesna branch, to monitor the progress and regularity of work during the Eid al-Adha holiday.
  • He explained that a plan has been put in place to inspect drinking water and wastewater treatment plants throughout the governorate during the Eid al-Adha holiday to ensure the quality of wastewater and its compliance with health regulations before it is discharged into drains, thus protecting the environment. This plan also aims to ensure the continued provision of drinking water services at the required efficiency and quality. He emphasized that all stations and networks within the governorate are operating normally, and that the shift system will continue at all company sites to address any problems that may arise in the networks and stations, particularly issues related to sewage overflows in the streets or water quality, and to resolve them immediately.
