The head of the Menoufia Water Company is following up on the site of the water line explosion in Mit Khakan, Shebin El Kom.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, conducted a field inspection of the site of a burst 500 mm GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) water pipeline with a 20-inch diameter on Al-Maqaber Street in Mit Khakan, East Shibin El-Kom district. The inspection aimed to assess the site firsthand and ensure the repair work was progressing smoothly without disrupting service to residents. The Chairman explained that 11 pieces of equipment and specialized technical teams were deployed to carry out the repairs and pump out the water. Water service was temporarily cut off in the affected area, and clean water was provided near the Al-Arbaeen Mosque and the Mit Khakan Club until the work is completed and service is gradually and regularly restored.
