The head of the Menoufia Water Authority inspects a number of water and treatment plants in the Berket El Sabaa and Shebin El Kom branches.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, conducted an inspection tour of several water treatment plants in the Berket El-Saba and Shebin El-Kom branches.
He began the tour by inspecting the Mit Faris El-Bahari water treatment plant, which is part of the Berket El-Saba branch. There, he reviewed the various operational stages, ensuring the smooth operation of the plant and adherence to occupational safety and health procedures, as well as the quality of the treated water, which met standard specifications.
The tour also included an inspection of the Mit Moussa El-Bahari water treatment plant, which is part of the Shebin El-Kom branch. This inspection aimed to monitor operational efficiency, ensure routine maintenance, verify equipment readiness, and confirm the continued provision of high-quality service to citizens.
The company president concluded his tour by inspecting the El-Batanoon wastewater treatment plant in the Shebin El-Kom branch, where he reviewed the plant's operations and treatment processes. He emphasized the importance of adhering to environmental standards and improving performance efficiency to protect the environment and ensure the sustainability of sanitation services.
This comes within the framework of directives issued by Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, and Engineer Mustafa El-Shimi, Acting Chairman of the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, regarding the necessity of continuous monitoring of the stations, attention to preventive maintenance, and swift action to address any issues or emergencies, thus guaranteeing the continued provision of drinking water and sanitation services to citizens at the required quality.
