  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, announced the completion of repairs to a sudden break in the 400 mm diameter GRP sewage discharge line at the main pumping station in the village of Batabs, Shibin El-Kom district. This comes as part of the company's commitment to a rapid response to emergency outages and ensuring the continuity of sanitation services for citizens. The Chairman explained that upon receiving the report, technical maintenance teams and the necessary equipment were immediately dispatched to repair the break, and all required technical measures were taken to complete the repairs as quickly as possible.
  • He affirmed that the repair work was carried out according to approved technical standards, with full adherence to occupational safety and health procedures to protect workers and citizens. He noted that the pipeline has been restarted and the pumping station is operating at full capacity, ensuring the best possible service for citizens.
