The Meet Moussa water treatment plant meets the requirements for the "TSM" certification for the third time.
The Meet Moussa Water Treatment Plant has met the requirements for the Sustainable Technical Management (TSM) certification for the third time, as part of the company's performance improvement plan. This achievement aligns with the directives of Engineer Randa El-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, and the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater, and is implemented in accordance with the company's Operations and Maintenance Sector's action plan.
Engineer Roshdy El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Water and Wastewater Company, indicated that the Meet Moussa Water Treatment Plant's successful renewal of the TSM certification followed a comprehensive and meticulous review of all standards related to optimal plant operation. This included adherence to standard operating procedures at all stages of operation, the availability of monthly performance indicators, and quality control and monitoring standards aimed at improving the level of services provided to citizens.
He stated that obtaining the TSM certification is a key indicator of the efficiency of water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring the sustainability and continuity of service delivery after verifying compliance with all TSM requirements.
He emphasized that the company has a plan to develop its water and wastewater treatment plant management and operation system and obtain accreditation and quality certifications in the management and operation of drinking water and wastewater treatment plants. He added that the coming period will witness several of the company's drinking water and wastewater treatment plants obtaining the Sustainable Technical Management certification, which contributes to preserving the assets of the drinking water and wastewater sector and the investments being made in this vital facility.
He expressed his gratitude to all employees in the company's Sustainable Technical Management system and the General Department of Occupational Safety and Health, commending their ongoing efforts, as well as the efforts of the employees at the Mit El-Murasha Water Treatment Plant to improve operational efficiency within the plant.
