  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, announced the acceptance of a new batch of students holding preparatory school certificates to apply to the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Technical Secondary School for the current academic year 2026-2027. Applications will be accepted from Wednesday, July 1st to Monday, July 20th via the company's website. The highest-scoring applicants will be tested through the following link: https://mcww.com.eg/schoolRequest. He stated that the Quesna Drinking Water and Sanitation Technical Secondary School aims to prepare highly skilled graduates in operation and maintenance work in the drinking water and sanitation sectors, qualified to keep pace with developments in modern technology and its application in various fields. This is in pursuit of creating a new generation of qualified personnel capable of achieving the goals of the Holding Company for Drinking Water and Sanitation and its subsidiaries.
  • He stated that the school offers three specializations: network operation and maintenance, stations, and laboratories. The program lasts three years, and successful students receive a technical secondary school diploma upon completion of the third year. They are then employed immediately after graduation. The school accepts a limited number of students based on the human resources needs of companies each year. Ms. Mona El-Qafal, Head of Human Resources at the company, explained the school's application requirements. These include obtaining a general or Al-Azhar preparatory certificate for the 2025-2026 academic year; being no older than 18 years of age on October 1, 2026; being an Egyptian citizen; having a minimum score of 92.85% in the general preparatory certificate, with priority given to those with higher scores; and achieving at least 60% in each subject of the written exams and personal interviews held at the school. She added that 5% of Al-Azhar preparatory students are accepted in each school with a minimum total of 93% for acceptance, according to the equation (the student’s total in the Al-Azhar preparatory certificate × 280 divided by the total total) for the Al-Azhar preparatory certificate.
