Menoufia Water: Field follow-up on repair work on a fault in an 8-inch diameter water line in Shebin El-Kom.
In accordance with the directives of His Excellency Major General Amr El-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, Engineer Roshdy El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, conducted a field visit to inspect the repair work on a fault in an 8-inch water pipeline at the end of Sabry Abu Alam Street, before Atef El-Sadat Street. The purpose of the visit was to ensure a swift response to the fault and minimize its impact on residents.
He stated that four company vehicles, along with a loader and excavator, were deployed to quickly address the situation and control its repercussions. Water valves were shut off to some affected areas of the street until the repairs are completed, and water accumulations resulting from the break were pumped out.
He emphasized the company's commitment to completing the repairs quickly while adhering fully to quality and safety standards. This will ensure the resumption of water service to the affected areas as soon as possible, thus maintaining the required efficiency and sustainability of drinking water services.
