Menoufia Water: Implementing 917 awareness activities for 256,442 beneficiaries and responding to 2,308 complaints related to the government portal during the year 2023.
Dr. Engineer Mohamed Naguib Saleh, President of the Menoufia Water and Sanitation Company, indicated that within the framework of the company’s awareness plan for the year 2023, 917 activities were implemented for 256,442 beneficiaries, which included conducting an opinion poll for 2,600 citizens about drinking water and sanitation services, 750 field activities for citizens, and holding 280 awareness seminars and public meetings to increase cultural awareness about drinking water and sanitation services and how to preserve them.
He added, 50 workshops were implemented to teach light plumbing for women, and 4 water service convoys were launched in the villages of the governorate, in addition to 72 field awareness convoys in cooperation with the Health Directorate in Menoufia, and 500 imams of mosques were trained in cooperation with the Ministry of Endowments, as well as cooperation with the Education Directorate in implementing 251 activities for school students. He explained that, within the framework of the role played by the General Administration of Public Relations and Media, 104 employees of the company were honored as part of the initiative to honor supervisory models in the management of the company and its affiliated branches, facilitating the provision of a summer residence for all employees on an installment system over 6 months without a down payment and without interest in Marsa Matrouh Governorate, and contracting with more than From 52 institutions (hospitals, radiology centers, analysis laboratories, commercial stores, pharmacies...) and responding to 2,308 complaints related to the government portal, the Ministry of Housing, and newspapers, with discount rates for workers and their families, and 3,305 publications covering company events .
