  • Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Drinking Water and Wastewater Company in Menoufia, announced the start of summer training for 120 students at the Technical Secondary School for Drinking Water and Wastewater in Menoufia in the first and second grades for the year 2023-2024 AD during the period from 7-28-2024 to 8-15-2024.   • He stated that a training plan has been developed under the full supervision of the General Administration of Training and by a specialized work team of engineers and chemists in charge of the teaching process at the school, with the assistance of occupational safety and health officials at the stations where the training takes place.
  • He stressed that the aim of the training is to train students practically on what was studied theoretically during the academic year, and the training will continue until 8/15/2024 in order to create qualified cadres to work as technicians in the stations.
  • He added, the students were distributed to stations at the governorate level and are being trained under the supervision of an elite group of engineers, technicians, and chemists, with the aim of bringing the students to a high technical level of competence and skill.
  • He explained that the training includes basic instructions on security, safety, washing and maintenance, as well as the stages of wastewater treatment from the entrance to the final drain. It also covers how to wash the upper tanks, open the washing valves, and monitor the quality of the water.
