  • Today, Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, met with the heads of sectors, general managers, and branch managers to discuss a number of topics related to improving the level of services provided by the company to citizens and the company's preparations for the second phase of a decent life in the centers of El-Bagour, Menouf, and Quesna.
  • He conveyed the instructions of His Excellency the Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities on the necessity of visiting water and sewage stations, following up on maintenance plans and paying attention to repairing faults in the shortest possible time.
  • He stressed the need to coordinate with the Engineering Authority when receiving Decent Life projects and preparing a list of villages not served by sewage, listing the number of home connections, and listing extensions in the centers of Qweisna, Menoufia, and El-Bagour.
  • He stressed the necessity of not delivering to buildings other than licensed buildings unless a letter is brought from the local unit regarding the delivery and the current situation and position is rectified.
  • He also stressed the need to pay attention to the cleanliness of the stations, provide manhole covers, provide chlorine, intensify training courses for engineers, and prepare to qualify all stations to obtain the Sustainable Technical Management Certificate through surprise visits by inspection and follow-up committees from the holding company to the various stations.
