The head of Menoufia Water inspects the sewage treatment plants in Saft Jadam and Al-Kamaisha in Tala Center.
Eng. Rushdi El Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, accompanied by Eng. Mohamed Fawzy Awad, General Manager of Projects and Head of the PUI Unit, inspected the Saft Gedam and El Kamaysha sewage treatment plants within the SRSP projects implemented in Tala Center.
He inspected the design, supply, installation, implementation and operational support project for the sewage treatment plant in Al-Kamaisha with a capacity of 9,000 m3/day, which serves 4 villages and 10 farms to serve 132,902 people.
He inspected the Saft Gedam sewage treatment plant construction project to learn about the progress of work within the project, implementation rates, and to study solutions to any obstacles affecting implementation.
He stressed the importance of following occupational health and safety procedures, maintaining the quality of work, and providing a healthy work environment for workers and citizens.
He stressed the need for continuous communication with the residents in all business locations and working to achieve community participation with the residents in the project villages, as it is the basis for the success of the project, taking into account studying their needs and obligations towards the project and that the project is to serve the citizens in a way that does not affect their daily lives.
This comes within the framework of field follow-up of projects on the ground and working to solve any problems that appear in the project.
