Menoufia Water: Launching the presidential initiative is a new beginning for building people from the village of Mit Al-Mouz.
Today, the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company launched the activities of the “New Beginning for Human Development” initiative, which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the aim of improving the quality of life of citizens and maximizing the benefit from available resources.
Eng. Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, explained that the initiative aims to implement programs and provide services that reach the Menoufia citizen in an effective manner, noting that the initiative was launched from the village of Mit El-Mouz, affiliated with the Shebin El-Kom Center, and that the initiative’s activities will continue for 100 days in all the governorate’s centers.
He pointed out that the launch activities included participation in the line-up show in front of the governorate's general office, in addition to implementing various activities at Mit Al-Mouz Elementary School, including implementing a puppet theater about rationalizing consumption, implementing drawing and coloring workshops, interactive games, a light plumbing workshop for teachers, and an introductory seminar about rationalizing consumption.
He added that complaints and inquiries from citizens in the village were received, a car was provided to serve customers in the village, plumbing workshops were implemented, sweeping services were provided, water samples were taken, and the spare parts were installed at the youth center in the village, and a seminar was held at the village mosque.
It is worth noting that the initiative comes within a national project for human development, reflecting the vision of the political leadership towards building an advanced and integrated society, as a result of the joint collective work of all ministries and state agencies, with the participation of civil society and the private sector; to prepare a comprehensive work program targeting the development of the Egyptian person and working to consolidate the Egyptian identity, so that the citizen feels the positive return within a short period.
