  • Eng. Rushdi Al-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, said that periodic samples are constantly taken and analyzed in the field and laboratory from the stations’ intakes and packages to ensure the quality of drinking water in the governorate.
  • He stated that the Environmental Health Department of the Menoufia Health Affairs Directorate, in cooperation with the Menoufia Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, conducted a field visit to some of the main drinking water stations, reviewed the operational procedures, ensured the control of the doses of added chemicals, the safety of the purification process at the stations, and ensured the cleanliness of the intakes.
  • He added that samples are taken from the networks to ensure the percentage of residual chlorine in the networks and their compliance with specifications, stressing the continuation of follow-up as the necessary analyses are conducted throughout the day to ensure the quality and suitability of drinking water and its compliance with specifications.
  • This comes within the framework of the company's keenness to monitor the quality of drinking water in all areas of the governorate and to strive to deliver a cup of safe, healthy water that meets international quality standards.
