The head of Menoufia Water meets with sector heads and branch managers to discuss the latest developments.
Engineer Rushdi El-Sayed Omar, Chairman of the Menoufia Drinking Water and Wastewater Company, held a coordination meeting with the company's sector heads and branch managers to discuss the latest developments related to improving the level of services the company provides to citizens.
He called for increasing collection rates, intensifying efforts to identify illegal connections, and ensuring full coordination between the company's commercial sector and all branch heads to detect illegal connections, which some resort to in order to avoid following legal connection procedures, steal water, or benefit from sewage services without paying any dues.
He stressed the need to rationalize electricity consumption at all of the company's sites and to follow up on the implementation of the measures taken by the company to rationalize electricity and water consumption to save energy at all various work sites within the framework of the current state directives to develop an executive plan to achieve the state's targets for rationalizing energy consumption.
He directed the branch managers to continuously monitor any faults that may appear in the networks and stations, and to be present at work until the repairs are completed, and to provide vehicles to distribute clean water until the faults are repaired.
He also stressed the importance of following up on all complaints received on the 125 hotline 24 hours a day, to present and resolve them immediately, especially problems related to water outages, sudden breaks in water lines, and sewage problems. He emphasized the need to communicate with citizens, identify their problems, and quickly move to crisis locations if any occur.
